I am a former Southern Baptist pastor myself. I was forced into a divorce while deployed with the U.S. Army and away from home, which allowed the SBC to force me out of my ordination.

I am not disillusioned with Christ in the least, but VERY disillusioned with religious organizations--cabals, in many cases.
