I have opened a Medium tab every day this week with the expectation that words would just put themselves together on it. I almost never get through 10 articles on my homepage before I have the same feeling you do--the heart is gone from this place.

Then I click on this article by you and quickly realize that a few of us still actually care about the craft of writing. I still don't have anything original in my brain to put out, but I feel better now. Thanks for writing this.
