The problem is actually worse than just that. It’s that he thinks he’s “woke” and “learned” and whatever other 21st century buzz word comes to mind. He displays the cultural blindspots, alright, but it goes further. He thinks he’s covered by his political affiliation and he seems to believe that selling hundreds of millions of books gives him the right to tell us what we should think outside of his make-believe universe.
