You flipped off someone for being “mean spirited and narrow minded?”

Aside from that being what seems like a pot-and-kettle setup, what did that gesture really accomplish? Hate the president if you like (I certainly have my strong opinions on the man as well), but seriously…aside from some red herring-type argument about defending free speech, what did you really hope to accomplish? Was that supposed to make him change his ways? Was it supposed to inspire others to get out and vote and run for office and systematically influence the political culture in a CONSTRUCTIVE way? Or was it you just being petty, mean spirited, and narrow minded as well?

A lot does need to change regarding the way business is being done politically — that much we can agree on. You acting like a 13-year-old who got her cell phone taken away doesn’t accomplish that. If you want to express your frustration, then do it like adults do.
