You’re clearly a Celtic fan. I am too, so I’ll give you a pass on stacking this list with Celtic series. I would add one, though. the 1991 opening round series between Boston and Indiana. Those were 5-game series back then, and game five at Boston Garden saw Bird crack his head on the parquet in the 2nd quarter.
He was escorted off the floor by medical personnel, thinking he had a broken jaw. Midway through the 3rd quarter, with Indiana taking control of the game, the Boston Garden crowd erupted as cameras swung around to capture Larry Bird jogging up the ramp and back into the arena.
He checked back in, went crazy all over the court, and lifted the Celtics to victory. It was one of his last legend-making performances of his career.
